Having a way to stay in touch with your sponsors and visitors will keep them interested and feel like they are part of the solution.   Make it easy for guests to sign up and send them an occasional email or newsletter to let them know what the organization is doing and other ways they can help.  Of course links to Twitter and Facebook are always great ideas.
