Funny. Unfortunately, most of them are going to cost way too much. (the soccer tunnel). Some would be pretty easy (the Mr. Clean). Makes me laugh. Thanks!

@Brett Hart, I wonder how much something like that costs to do, and how much time it takes. Things like that or the bus advertisements. I think we can all see that sometimes its important to take that step out of the box in order to get noticed.

Some of these are pretty clever. Most of them seem like space wasters and trash generators, but that could be because I can’t stand advertisements, especially obtrusive ones.

    Still, clever.

The sad thing is, they’d never be able to pull of things like that in the states. However… viral marketing is also extremely popular. “Will it blend” YouTube series has got to be the best marketing for a blender out there!

@Barb Gordon, That was definetly my goal. Not all of these ads are practical for other genres but the ideas and the creativity behind them should cause us all to think about how we can step outside that box and do things that will cause others to notice us and our work.

haha those are all pretty awesome. They made me laugh, but are they going to be cost productive for the company paying for the add? Granted- some of the larger companies could probably afford it, like the mc.donalds one, and true, they’re not all that expensive, like the mr.clean one, but whatever, they’re awesome either way.

There is a site in Brazil that creates a mood pieces, parts ghosts. The media ônbis it appears ensaguentado hit a boy in the window, not a real number, it was a joke that never went to the streets. Search hein staff.

Different, a tad original….. but I have no idea as to where you got the idea that they were “Guerrilla” advertisements.

I remember when it started back when artists and alternative groups would through sculptures and the like in public parks at late night.

I can’t agree with this being anything of the sort.
Sorry, but if it were the 24 clocks in New York or the little chalk adds painted on the streets of San Fran 10 years ago, I could say alright.

This is just what corporations do; find something new and trendy, then kill it by shoving it down every ones’ throats.

Muito interesante, pena que aqui no Brasil, creio eu, os clientes não envestem seu dinheiro nesse tipo de marketing.
Caso contrario, iriamos ter coisas bacanas aqui e os clientes iriam divulgar muito mas seu produto/marca.

Where the work is at a reoognized ad site, great. where the works turns a scene into an ad that was calm and clear before, this is poisoning the mental landscape and is pure eye vomit.

Thanks for sharing these. Really inspiring although some of those campaigns must have cost a lot, I’m thinking the money could have been put to better use (Feed SA: Trolley :) ). Anyway, it also shows that an ad may be simple yet still very effective (Mr. Clean) and it doesn’t have to be expensive.

    Thanks for the post!
