Design Inspiration – Where do I find it?

What inspires you? That is the question most asked in the world of design. How do you come up with the ideas you use? How can you keep making new websites, week after week, month after month and year after year? Well the answer is, its not always easy. Sometimes you hit road blocks, you run out of ideas…you just can not seem to think of the right combination of colors and the best direction for a client who has left everything up to you. You look around, trying to find something that clicks and wait for all the pieces to come together. Sometimes that happens fast, sometimes it can take a while.

Over the next several postings we will discuss the best ways to find that inspiration you are looking for. What resources are out there to help you put the pieces together so you can design that layout which will make your client say, “yes, thats it, perfect…” Its not always easy, and its not always where you expect it to be.
