Top 15 Non Flash Websites for October

Here you will find a list of what I consider to be the top non Flash websites I have seen recently. For those of you who want to stay away from Flashy websites, this is for you. These sites of various genres and looks are included in t his list because they all share similar traits – interesting, eye catching and a great attention to detail. Enjoy the list, and of course, I always look forward to your feedback.

Fun Illustrations, great use of color and easy navigation make this a great example for freelance designers

Great E-commerce website, fun and hip. Captures the essense of their market. Easy to find what you are looking for. Crisp and clean pictures. Not the standard drab E-commerce website. And my sister loves their clothes.

Chattanooga Zoo
Clean, crisp and great pictures. This zoo website is not a bear to go through. Minimalistic without being boring, I’d gopher this style any day of the week.

Hip, interesting and great artistic flair. Good use of blending illustrations and photography.

Utah Travel Website
Great use of textures, colors and images. This site packs alot of information without being overwhelming. Very cool navigation as well

Great use of conservative colors in a non conservative way. Illustrations bring the pages to life and most of all, its easy to navigation and find the information you are looking for. Inside pages follow through with clean layout and great headers to help give this site an A in my book.

Great photorealistic renderings give this site an interesting look

Fun, quirky and very European in style. Illustrations and bold use of color make this site a real head turner. Single page layout is done very well and makes the site more appealing instead of annoying.

The lifelab site has embedded Flash. I know it is not the major element, but it does play a role in the elegance and animation of the site. Just a note. Thanks for sharing!
